Cheesy Green Omelet

Melted cheese makes the omelet more filling and savory.



Ingredients:

2 servings, 466 kcal per serving

  • 2 packets Golden Aojiru Young Barley Grass Powder

  • 5 eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 2 pinches salt

  • Pepper to taste

  • 1 ½ tbsp salted butter

  • ½ - ¾ cup shredded cheese

  • 6 cherry tomatoes

  • 2 small potatoes, steamed

  • Cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, beat eggs, then mix in Golden Aojiru powder packets, milk, salt, and pepper.

  2. In a non-stick pan, melt half of the butter then pour in half of the egg mixture. As the eggs start to set, use a spatula to stir the egg mixture in one circular motion.

  3. Before the top sets, add half of the cheese to the center. Fold both sides over the cheese.*

  4. Serve with cherry tomatoes and steamed potatoes. Sprinkle cracked black pepper over potatoes.

  5. Repeat steps 2-4 to make another omelet.

*TIP – Tilt the pan away from you and fold 2/3’s of the omelet from your side over cheese. Then, tilt the pan toward you and fold the other side.
